My husband Chaitanya and I have created a
space for the practice of Yoga in its many forms, called the Anahata
Yoga Temple. Our aim was to create a sacred place for ourselves, our
friends and students to gather and support each other.
At the
Anahata Yoga Temple we hold monthly Kirtans (devotional singing). We
see this as a form of Bhakti (devotional) Yoga. Singing mantra and
Bhajan’s is one of the oldest sacred music traditions of the world. The
vibration of love and devotion felt in this environment is an
incredibly uplifting, healing and blissful experience.
All
proceeds from our Kirtan evenings (Donation of $5), go directly to the
Tibetan Children’s Village in Dharmasala, India. We maintain regular
communication with the Village and whenever possible visit our sponsor
children and others there.
Please find below a window of the Anahata Yoga Temple website, you are able to access all the pages from this window.
